Understanding Payout Schemes

First-Come, First-Served (Manual)

Sequential Order

Payout turns are assigned sequentially in the exact chronological order members join the group (Slot #1, Slot #2, Slot #3). Ideal for pre-arranged queue agreements.

Randomized Sequence (Draw Lots)

System Shuffled

The system automatically shuffles and randomizes member slot positions upon cycle start. The fairest, unbiased method when all savers share equal timing preference.

Free Choice Slot Reservation

Self Selected

Members freely browse open rotation slots and reserve their preferred payout position upon joining before the cycle begins. Perfect for goal-based target dates.

Best Practices for Organizers & Members

1

Choose a Trusted Organizer

Since Siklo handles record keeping and not funds, choose an organizer who is highly trustworthy, accessible, and organized.

2

Agree on Late Fees Early

Late payments delay everyone's payouts. Setting up a small late penalty per day encourages members to contribute on time.

3

Maintain Consistent Schedules

Agree on contribution cutoffs and payout dates early so every member knows exactly when their turn begins.

4

Use Clear Payment Channels

Standardize mobile wallets or bank transfers. Instruct members to send references or receipts directly to the organizer.
