Paluwagan Terms & Guide

Simple Words to Understand How It Works

Here is a simple explanation of the words we use so you always know how your savings group runs.

Full Rotation

Cycle

Full Group Rotation

One full cycle means every single person in the group has received their payout once. If a group has 2 cycles, the rotation repeats so everyone gets paid twice.

Example: 5 members with 2 cycles will run 10 turns in total.
Active Turn

Turn / Round

One Payout Period

The specific period where all members chip in their share of money for one scheduled member.

Example: In Turn 1, everyone pays so Member 1 gets the total money.
Combined Pool

Payout Pool

Total Money Collected

The total amount of money collected from all members for that turn, given directly to the scheduled member.

Example: ₱1,000 from 5 members makes a ₱5,000 payout pool.
Payment Frequency

Billing Cycle

How Often You Pay

How often members need to send their payments. This can be daily, weekly, twice a month (15th and 30th), or monthly.

Example: If weekly, members pay once every week.
Recipient

Beneficiary

Member Getting Paid

The member assigned to receive the full pooled money for the current active turn.

Example: If you have Slot #3, you are the beneficiary on Turn #3.
Circle Leader

Organizer

Group Leader / Admin

The trusted person who creates the group, checks members' payment receipts, and sends out the pooled money to each recipient.

Example: The organizer verifies proofs and advances the turns.
Guaranteed Transparency

Why Trust Siklo?

How we ensure transparency, clarity, and reliability in all your Paluwagan cycles.

100% Shared Visibility

Every member gets read-only access to the group ledger, removing the risk of altered numbers or hidden secrets.

Zero Math Errors

Siklo automatically computes payout pots and increments turns. No calculator needed, no mistakes made.

Philippine-Centric Setup

Built tailored for Pinoy savings culture, honoring turns, digital receipts, and community contributions.

No Middleman Fees

Siklo does not touch or hold any money. The tool is 100% free to use to coordinate your groups' cycles.

Private Invite Access

Every savings circle is strictly private. Members join securely via unique group invite codes, keeping your records confidential.

Operational Safety & Governance

How Siklo Protects Your Group Ledger?

Strict operational standards designed specifically to preserve community trust and eliminate disputes.

Non-Custodial Protocol

Direct Member-to-Member Transfers

Siklo never holds, manages, or locks your money. Contributions are transferred 100% directly between members using your trusted mobile wallets (GCash, Maya) or cash, eliminating middleman fees and deposit risks.

Immutable Ledger

Real-Time Audit Trail

Every single contribution verification, turn advance, and announcement generates a timestamped entry in the group's activity feed. Every circle member gets an identical, real-time record history.

Protected Rotation

Locked Turn Governance

Once a Paluwagan cycle starts, turn positions and payout dates are locked to prevent arbitrary changes. Clear permissions distinguish organizer verification duties from member read-only rights.
